My First Ensemble

This is my first attempt at a three piece set.  Lace cowl, cabled mitlets and basic socks.  The yarn was a mystery, soft, slight sheen, lavender acrylic.  The cowl will need to be pinned so I made a dark purple sequined pin.  The skill level varied, and now I have learned several new techniques and feel confident to keep taking chances in design.  The feeling of accomplishment is uplifting.  Fears are overcome.
